This is such an incredible story of a crazy mother and daughter relationship. It has a very colorful cast of great southern characters who ring true to what it's really like to live and hail from the South. I know Vivi is very dysfunctional as a mother but I was drawn to her none the less. I love this book and the follow-up as well. They are both on my always-a-keeper shelf!
